Brewster family

Introducing the Brewster family! I had the pleasure of meeting Tammy at our church's craft fair just a few weeks ago and am so thankful to her for choosing your truly to take their photos! They are a great looking, and FUN, family : )

We met up in the middle of downtown Columbus only to find some hectic traffic and parking situations and TONS of families decked out in their costumes for some Halloween festivities. Luckily we able to find some spots with minimal distractions... although one spot was a little less pretty after being used by a tiny tyke as a urinal. Oh well, nature calls.

Standing around and getting your picture taken on a  beautiful Saturday afternoon isnt usually at the top of any guys list but after a few laughs,  and some small talk, I think we got some pretty great photos.

Enjoy!

What to wear?

One of the most frequently asked questions photographers are asked when booking a session is "What should I wear?", and it is an important one! What you and your family wear s could create distractions in your photos and take away the focus from all of your beautiful and smiling faces... which is what we want to capture and highlight : )

When planning your wardobe make sure you pick items that reflect YOU. There is no need to over dress and, please, dont under dress. Choose clothing that you are comfortable in. When you arent comfortable in what you are wearing it shows on your face.

Coordinating your families attire does NOT mean you all have to be wearing the same color shirt and pants. You can do so if you choose, but throwing in some variety helps each family member stand out individually.

To help you out a little more I have found some visual aids. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Patch!

Over the weekend he headed out to Pine Mountain, GA to visit the Butts Mill Farm pumpkin patch with the Sawtelle family! We have so much fun them, Eddie & Kyle are a blast and Peyton is just too cute for words. Peyton loved going down the slides more than anything and Austin, well, he was indifferent to the whole situation. He did like the goat in the petting zoo though : ) There was a lot to do on the farm but I have to be honest and say that pumpkin patch was pretty lame. The photos of the kids by the pumpkins? Yeah, that was the only pumpkin "patch" on the entire farm. We all though it was just a nicely decorated entrance area to the farm.

World Prematurity Day!

As many of you may already know, my little Austin was born seven weeks early and spent three weeks and three days in the Madigan Army Medical Center (Ft. Lewis, WA) NICU. Those days were some of most emotional and inspirational of my life. It was so amazing to watch miracles take place right before our eyes and those miracles could only take place with the help of God and some of the amazing work that March of Dimes does for preemies everywhere!

Show your support for your local chapter of March of Dimes and book a mini session on November 17th! Whether you have a preemie, were a preemie, know a preemie, or you simply want to help a great cause this session is for you! Decide what you feel like giving, all money I collect will be donated to the Georgia Chapter of March of Dimes : )
