voyticky/galleazo {family}

OBVIOUSLY I have not done a great job at keeping up with my whole organization project, leaving my blog pretty boring and empty

...

until NOW :)

While home in Ohio with our families I was able to get some time away for my awesome cousin and her family.

They were a blast! Three 5 & 8 yr old boys will keep you on your toes and your shoots action packed but the end result is GREAT photos.

{I love capturing the unplanned and spontaneous action shots :) }

{an absolute must: tree climbing!... and a total frame worthy image :) }

*Something different for the next few months*

OK, so with only a few possible sessions left to shoot, I am just about done shooting until after baby #2 arrives... and I am already bored.

So for the next few months {and might even continue once regular shooting starts back up}, I will continue to blog about anything I find exciting, helpful or simply worthy of sharing.

For the first not-so-much-photography-oriented blog I want to address a few things:

1) I am closing up Week 8 of a bible study that has been EXTREMELY eye-opening, heart-opening & revolutionary for me. Our study is focused on Linda Dillow's book "Calm My Anxious Heart" {linked to amazon for those who may be interested}. HOLY COW! Seriously, life changing for me... and MANY other women on the journey with me.

Anyways, last weeks chapter was about finding/discovering/accepting our life purpose that God has planned for us. My life is currently all about my hubby and child(ren) so I am currently re-vamping my daily activities/schedule to embrace this and make the most of my life for these truly awesome guys (and future little girl).

2) I have also been really inspired lately by a lot of mommy and married friends who have started their own blogs. I have recently started to really follow them and read their posts regularly and I am just so inspired and in awe over these ladies!

Woodlawn Lane

Munchie Monkey

7 Days Time

Living for One

*These are all fabulous blogs, by fabulous ladies, so definitely check them out!*

3) We recently purchased our first home.. WOO HOO, right?... YES. Well, since weve been here since July its about time we make this place a HOME and unpack the last few boxes. I have decided that to attack this process in phases as to not overwhelm myself and end up losing perspective on this blessing that God has so graciously bestowed upon us {thank you Linda Dillow, and Jesus, for this plan of attack}.

Phase 1: PAINTING! {something I have been dying to do since my hubby & I had our first place together and now that we OWN this home he cant come up with any excuses to keep me from doing so.. Love you, Babe!}

Phase 2: ORGANIZATION {to help me with this phase I will be adopting/following The Imperfect Homemaker's {LOVE the name of her blog, btw) 31 Days to an Organized Home... which take me into December as it's already November 2nd and there are only 30 days in the month.

So that's that. The new blog style. For awhile.    : )

"Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. Keep my statutes and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you."
 -Leviticus 20: 7-8

{this from LAST halloween, but it is one of my absolute favorites of my little guy and his gal pal :) }

and baby makes 4!

The amazing and awesome Marissa, of Bella Muse Photography, took these extra special photos for us :)

My Boys :)

So my little man, who I guess is not so little anymore, turned 2 last month!

I can still remember the day we brought him home from the NICU. I mean really, everything: packing up his things, carrying him out to the car, what it felt like to have him outside for the first time and (I dont think anyone could forget it) I remember Josh and I trying to get the car seat base loaded into the car... and wondering why we didnt do that very thing DAYS ago, haha.

Then I blinked. And now that "lump of a baby", as Josh like to call him :), is two.

AND he is going to be a big brother! AND we bought a house!

After weeks of feeling sick and tired, I got up the energy and motivation to take him out and try to get a few shots of my boys together.

raina {family}

This was the second time I got to shoot the beautiful Raina family and it was extra special this time as Adi's parents were in from INDIA! They only come every few years so I was honored when Arwyn contacted me to get some photos for them.

katie & walter {married}

I really enjoyed being a part of Katie and Walters day. They were intent on keeping things simple and really focusing on the importance of this important step in their relationship and their true love for one another. Isnt that what the day should be about anyways?

Katie & Walter, I wish you all the best and God's blessings on your new life together. I am truly honored and thankful you chose me to capture your memories.

I am also thankful that the rain held off so we could get some really awesome photos : )
