Austin

Thought I would share some of my favorites from today with everyone. Austin is particularly chatty today and he said he wanted to show everyone some of his favorite things to do and play with. SO here you are: reading, biting the noses on his stuffed animals (a new hobby that I think he inherited from his Auntie who used to squeeze them) and playing with Mommy's lens cap. He brings me so much joy and a smile to face everyday... hope these images do the same for you : )

Love,
 Austin

My Fair Lady

This past weekend I was lucky enough to travel west to Riverside, CA where I participated in one of, the FABULOUS, Tonya Joy workshops! I learned so much from Tonya, she is BEYOND talented and so gracious to open her heart to a room full of ladies in all stages of photography. I am addicted to sitting here and editing pictures from our shoots. Our models, the Wulfemeyer family and Tegyn Friedman, were easy to capture some amazing shots as they were all such beautiful people, inside and out. SO, enjoy some of the products of this fabulous weekend!

The Little Man Is 1!!

Well, it finally happened. My baby turned 1! His birthday was full of emotion for me as I reflected back to his first days with us in the NICU. At the time we thought it would take forever to just get him home and then look at us now, chasing him around the house as he crawls and climbs on everything. I can't believe how fast this year has gone and how amazing every single day has been. For his birthday we were able to celebrate in Ohio with Grandparents and Great-Grandparents since we were there for his aunt Allison's wedding. Below are some pics from the parties as well as some special flashbacks from the NICU. Love you little man!! xoxoxoxo

During my last trip home I was able to get some amazing senior shots taken for her : ) Even though it was raining, and Jessica was trooper, we were able to get a great variety. Special thanks to Aunt Laurie for saving the day with the umbrella! Anyways, here are some of my favorites. Congrats Jess and enjoy your senior year!!!

Busy weekend!

Last weekend I traveled north, back to Ohio. A LOT was crammed into one weekend but it was a ton of fun and a great chance to catch up with a lot of family. First on the agenda was my God Daughters, Stella, Baptism followed by a family reunion and then my aunts 50th birthday party... did I mention these were all in one day? Anyways, some of my photos from the entire weekend were captured at the family reunion. The little munchkins in the photos are my cousins adorable little ones : )

Infantry Museum

So last week we had some of our favorite visitors in town... my parents and sister! We always have a bast when we are able to spend time together and this visit was a little more special since we basically discovered the area of Columbus, GA together! My husband, baby and I have only been here a few weeks so this was the perfect opportunity to experience the south. We spent a day in Montgomery, AL and one in Panama City Beach but one of the most special trips was to the Infantry Museum on Fort Benning. As a military wife I was so moved by everything about this place. From the entrance display to the Family Gallery to the abundance of pictures and artifacts, I couldn't help from getting choked up a few times. It is a powerful feeling when you learn more about just what our men in uniform do, and have done, for our country. Here are a few of favorite pictures from the visit.... I wont give too much away since you really should see it for yourselves. Its totally worth it

Sarah Fuccillo Workshop

I have had these pictures for awhile now but I couldnt resist sharing them on the blog! Sarah Fuccillo is one of the most amazing women I know... and shes great at everything she does from being mom, to wife, to photographer. She very graciously opened her heart and her home to other photographers, some new and some experienced, ready to pick her brain and learn everything we could. It was a wonderful day, and one that I wont soon forget : ) Here are some of my favorites from our styled shoot.
